Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Alcestra, which operates Mirlaval. Please read them before you create an account. They are written to be understood.

Who we are

Mirlaval is operated by Alcestra, registered in France. Address: [ADDRESS]. SIRET: [SIRET].

Questions about these terms: contact@mirlaval.com.

What Mirlaval is

Mirlaval helps tradespeople and small businesses, starting with hair salons and painter-decorators, see where their margin goes and decide what to change.

Mirlaval is open by invitation only. You can create an account only with the email address your invitation was sent to, and we may withdraw an invitation that has not been used.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and use Mirlaval for your business or your work.

  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password private. Anything done with your login is treated as done by you.
  • One account is for one person. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.

What Mirlaval is not

Mirlaval produces estimates and suggestions from the figures you enter and from starting templates. Templates are a starting point, not a promise of what your business will earn.

Claire, our assistant, and Léo, who guides your first steps, are AI assistants. They can be wrong. What they say is not accounting, tax, financial or legal advice. You stay responsible for the decisions you make, and you should check important figures with your accountant.

Your data

The business figures and notes you enter remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Mirlaval for you. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train AI models.

How personal data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law, or use Mirlaval to harm, harass or deceive anyone;
  • try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, or to disrupt or overload the service;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer Mirlaval, or collect its content automatically;
  • enter personal data about other people that you have no right to share.

Ownership of Mirlaval

The software, name, logo, templates and design of Mirlaval belong to Alcestra. You may use them for your own business through the service while your account is open. Nothing else is transferred.

Price

Mirlaval is currently provided by invitation. If we introduce paid plans we will tell you first, and you will not be charged for anything you have not agreed to.

Availability and changes

Mirlaval is an early service. We work to keep it available and correct, but we cannot promise it will always run without interruption or error. We may improve, change or pause features, and we will give notice of changes that materially affect you.

Ending your use

You can stop using Mirlaval at any time and ask us to close your account and delete your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk, and we will explain why where we can.

Our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Alcestra is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or decisions you take relying on Mirlaval's estimates or on Claire's or Léo's answers. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. If a change matters, we will tell you by email and ask you to accept the new version; if you do not accept it you can close your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If we cannot settle a disagreement between ourselves, the French courts have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere.
